Facebook will allow crypto ads on its platform

It took a long time, but we still had it. Meta confirms that the social network Facebook will allow crypto advertising on this platform, and this decision allegedly stems “from the changing world view of cryptocurrencies”. In the past, crypto advertising on this platform was banned mainly due to the huge number of scam projects that shed a bad light on the whole platform and also on Mark Zuckerberg himself.

,,We’re doing this because the cryptocurrency landscape has continued to mature and stabilize in recent years and has seen more government regulations that are setting clearer rules for their industry.”

As cryptocurrencies are a dynamic area due to high volatility and huge changes can occur from day to day, some products will need to undergo written approval. It is understandably clear that the crypto community is pleased with this report, as many believe that this step can also help to grow cryptocurrencies in the short as well as in the longer term. After all, it is a huge platform that most recently deals with the so-called Metaverse, which has the potential to replace the Internet and the opportunity to enter the so-called virtual environment, thus connecting the world and virtual reality. Many are even speculating that cryptocurrencies will be here as well. But we will have to wait for that.
