As a result, the US Department of Justice has decided to set up a team to fight the misuse of digital assets. The report was announced by US Attorney General Lisa Monaco at the Munich Cyber Security Conference on Thursday. At first it might seem that the new task force is set up to fight the cryptomen as such, but the opposite is true.
As Lisa added, the FBI’s main goal is to stop people trying to rob people of their digital resources. Overall, the Ministry of Justice, which will address these types of issues, will, in the longer term, create more credibility among ordinary people in the crypt industry, which will ultimately help to increase the adoption of cryptocurrencies among the general public.
